aluplast uPVC Windows and Doors On The Block Australia

The Block Australia has named aluplast as a major sponsor, which is a significant milestone for the industry because it is the first time UPVC joinery has been used on the show.

aluplast is a uPVC window and door brand distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand that was recently featured on the popular Australian TV show The Block Australia. uPVC, or unplasticised polyvinyl chloride, is a type of plastic that is commonly used in the construction industry due to its durability and energy efficiency.

The Block chose to work with aluplast because it was one of the only products on the Australian market that could meet the new, stringent 7-star building requirements for homes of this size.

Similar performance specifications for joinery are set to be introduced in New Zealand from November 2023.

Energy Efficiency

One of the primary benefits of using aluplast products in the builds featured on The Block Australia, is their energy efficiency. uPVC is a great insulator, which means that it helps to keep heat inside the house during the winter and outside during the summer. This can lead to significant savings on energy bills and a more comfortable living environment for the homeowners.

aluplast uPVC windows and doors are 100% recyclable and contain up to 80% recycled materials inside, making them a sustainable and energy-efficient option.

Durability

Another advantage of aluplast products is their durability. uPVC is a strong, long-lasting material that can stand up to the weather and keep its shape and colour for a long time. This makes it a great choice for homes in coastal or high temperature areas, as it is resistant to rotting, warping, and fading.

Design Options

Another key feature of the aluplast brand is that it offers a wide range of design options for their windows and doors, with products coming in a variety of styles, colours, and finishes, allowing homeowners to choose the perfect look for their home. This gives the contestants of The Block the ability to truly make their house a home by customising the appearance of their windows and doors.

Maintenance

Unlike timber windows and doors, which require painting or staining, uPVC products are known for being easy to maintain. This means that installing aluplast windows and doors could save homeowners time and money in the long run.

Overall, aluplast is a great choice for homeowners looking for energy-efficient, durable, and customisable windows and doors. This product has been exposed to a large audience and gained popularity among the viewers as a result of being featured on The Block Australia.
